Born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, Vanessa Edwards has always had a keen eye for opportunity and a passion for connection. She began her career in accounting for a commercial real estate firm, where she honed her financial acumen over nine years. Seeking a new challenge, she transitioned to a role as a Recoverable Revenue Accountant with Westfield, managing revenue streams for a global portfolio of luxury shopping centers.

While Vanessa thrived in the corporate world, she soon realized her true passion lay beyond spreadsheets and balance sheets. Craving a more dynamic and people-centric career, she took a step back from real estate accounting to focus on another love—Pilates. As a certified instructor, she not only built strength in her clients but also deepened her appreciation for personal transformation and meaningful relationships.

It was during this time that longtime friend and powerhouse broker Melissa Sofia, founder of The Avenue, encouraged Vanessa to bring her skills, passion, and natural charisma back to real estate—this time, as an agent. Now a licensed Realtor with The Avenue Home Collective, Vanessa seamlessly blends her financial expertise, sharp negotiation skills, and love for personal connections to guide clients in finding their dream homes across Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange counties.
