Michaella “Miki” Belisario was born and raised in San Diego, and after living around the world, she has ultimately planted roots in her beloved hometown. After all, it is “America’s finest city”! Growing up in the real estate industry and watching her family thrive as top producers developed Miki’s keen attention to detail, understanding of what to look for in a property, and skill for serving people at the highest level.

After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in psychology, she dedicated five years to the service industry, where she acted as a social work counselor and behavior technician for children with special needs. Though she was on track to becoming a child therapist, she felt the strong pull towards a new direction. In 2019, she took the leap to join her family’s business, The Avenue Home Collective, a heart-led and client-centric boutique brokerage. During this time, she also became the social media manager for Mostra Coffee — the No. 1 coffee company in North America in 2020 — while providing marketing consultation for other heart-led brands.

As the marketing and social media director, Miki helped The Avenue grow to the award-winning company it is today through innovative, transparent, and authentic messaging. In 2022, Miki finally dove into real estate full-time as a licensed Realtor®, and in her first year she was inducted into SDAR's Circle of Excellence, making the Top 3% of Realtors in San Diego. Taking her extensive customer service and marketing background, she continues to serve people and community change-makers in their home buying or selling process.

Although she has closed the chapter working in the nonprofit industry, Miki is still heavily involved with and volunteers with nonprofit organizations such as Autism Speaks, the Surfrider Foundation, and SIPA Cares. In 2021, she and her family launched a passion project, the Kapwa Collective, which is a community event that celebrates Filipino culture and excellence and provides resources to the locals. Kapwa Collective has proudly collaborated with philanthropic leaders such as the Filipino American National Historical Society, Grammy-nominated recording artists The Black Eyed Peas, and Arnel Pineda, the leading front man of Journey. She and her family are excited to grow Kapwa Collective to continue providing opportunities for education and connection.

Regardless of what industry she is in, Miki is truly fulfilled by serving the community and elevating the lives of others to reach their highest goals. Although home buying and selling can be complex, she is dedicated to transforming her client’s experience into a stress-free and fun process!
