Meet Josh

As a commercial real estate agent, Joshua Barker’s career has taken him from Las Vegas back to San Diego. With an analytical mind and entrepreneurial spirit, he loves connecting with people who share his passion for merging business and creativity.

 

Originally from San Diego, music was Joshua’s first passion, and he studied business and artist management at Berklee College of Music. He ran his own promotions company, which relied heavily on networking and building a sense of community; he also worked in the service industry, which taught him that customer service is king.

 

When Joshua launched his real estate career in Las Vegas, he found his passion for commercial real estate and put his skills to good use there. Assisting investors, owners, developers, and tenants, he looks forward to the result of his collaborative work and how it benefits communities. Joshua is also a licensed California sales agent; many of his deals occurring off-market, allowing whomever he’s representing to get first dibs. Regardless of whether that’s a corporate or mom-and-pop client, Joshua finds the greatest reward in helping people find success.

 

Joshua moved back to San Diego in 2016. Despite having lived in Las Vegas since he was 10 years old, his family and childhood friends have always made San Diego his true home. He loves the water, playing basketball, attending concerts, traveling, and cooking. As Josh reestablishes his roots in San Diego, he plans on focusing on real estate investment opportunities that help build up his community in such areas as multifamily housing, land development, and single-family value-added investments.
