Living in the San Diego area for more than 20 years, Cheri Mosdell brings market knowledge and decades of business savvy to her work as a real estate professional with the ability to negotiate complex transactions from all angles. In her 14 years as the owner and vice president of a collection agency, she gained a firm grasp of finance that enables her to expertly advise clients on the intricacies of bolstering their credit score to purchase their own home.

Cheri’s experience in collections graced her with important interpersonal skills: patience, understanding, listening, and, perhaps most importantly, empathy. Her experience as a transaction coordinator has taught her that each purchase and sale is unique. Through it all, she feels that one of her primary roles in her client relationships is to relieve anxiety. Recalling her experience buying her first home in 2005, she remembers how worried she was by all the required paperwork and documentation — and realizing afterward that it actually wasn’t that bad. She understands that having someone like her to capably navigate the process can relieve stress, especially for first-time buyers.

With a fluency that is highly valued by Filipino-speaking clients, Cheri has served on the executive board of the Asian Real Estate Association of America since 2019 — as secretary-treasurer, vice president, and, in 2021, as the San Diego chapter president.
